Exterior Solar Shades

 The MASTERSHADE® exterior rolling solar screen systems by Sunair® are the perfect solution for maintaining shade and comfort in your home, office, or patio.  The Mastershade® dramatically decreases heat and glare caused by the sun and is the ideal solution for solar protection, glare control, and energy savings.  Our shades can also offer total black out by completely blocking the sunlight that penetrates your windows and doors.  Our shades also protect your furniture, curtains and floor coverings.  We have a solution for all of your retractable shading needs.  Each screen is custom crafted to fit your window or opening and are customized to best fit your individual sun protection needs and budget.  Choose between our five solar screen models and nine standard frame colors  depending on model to match or accent your exterior.  We have many fabrics to choose from that will taylor your need for solar control, while you still maintain a nice view through the window and mesh fabric.  As you can see below the view is very good through the fabric. 

 The SC2500 Mastershade® is an is an open roll exterior screen that is installed utilizing two end brackets and an optional hood.  The system is available motorized or manual with standard tracks, zipper tracks, or cables.  The screen can be rolled up and down as needed.  The fabric hem bar runs on the cable or track by means of gravity.  When the shade is retracted the fabric is rolled up on a 78 mm open roller tube.  A  weighted aluminum hem bar in the fabric fold / pocket keeps the fabric taut.

The Mastershade® SC4500 zipper screen is the ideal rolling solar screen and bug screen system for verandas, garage doors and lanai’s.  Finally, you can enjoy outdoor space without worrying about the sun’s glare and in the evening without worrying about pesky bugs. Simply roll down the screen and the zipper system will do the rest. This specially engineered zipper system keeps the fabric within the track, keeping unwanted bugs from entering the space. Both Solar screen fabric and Tuff Screen Bug fabrics are available.

The SC4500 Mastershade® can also be used with Ferrari 502 vinyl fabric and clear windows for keeping moderate weather at bay to create a three season roll down enclosure.  Great for private residences, hospitality spaces, and restaurant.  The zipper screen with windows are also ideal for our Pergola® awning (see our section on Pergola® retractable roof awnings).  Each screen is custom crafted to fit your opening and are customized to best fit your individual needs.  Choose between our nine standard frame colors.   We have many fabrics to choose from that will fit your solar control needs, bug protection needs, or your need for a three season enclosed space.  

 The SC4500 Mastershade® with mesxh fabric is an exterior rolling screen with a compact 5" x 5" cassette box. The system is ideal as for solar control and bug screen control for large windows and openings. The fabric hembar runs up and down the track by means of gravity. When the shade is retracted the fabric is stored in the built-in enclosed protective box. A weighted aluminum hem bar keeps the fabric taut. 

The SC4500 Mastershade® ziopper screen with mesh fabric is available with below configuration and options.

• Available manual with interior or exterior hand crank, or optional motorized, with wind sensors and remote control
